Pilot workshops with women will be run in the partner countries (Greece, Cyprus, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Poland, and Lithuania) to test the methodology, which includes separate trainers (business advisors) and learners kits. An online community will be created to continue the peer-support approach, using Web2.0 and social media to reduce isolation and build valuable social capital for the target group. VET trainers will have access to innovative European approaches and the opportunity to share knowledge with peers across Europe.

BADGE has 2 main target groups; disadvantaged entrepreneurial women and specialists in VET-oriented organisations who offer support for these women. BADGE will have significant impact on both groups short-term, (in terms of immediate benefits), and longterm (through the empowerment of learners, project dissemination and networks created). The main project outcome will be the revised tool in all 7 partner languages, constituting the business advisor’s material as well as the learners’ material, accompanied by an e-learning platform and online community. Collateral outcomes will be dissemination and exploitation tools, such as the web site, public presentations, articles and press releases.
